A coastal get away for a family of three to St. George Island.
This sweet chunky baby boy was mostly stoic, but I wants complaining. He flashed the best grins to his mama and dada as they dished out tickles and played in the waves.
The wind was whipping for this clear sunny beach day on the Forgotten Coast. It wasn’t something a small hair tie couldn’t fix for this mama, and a clip for me! Perfect pastel blue skies paired with their blue and white choices for attire ended up an ideal combo.
Small immediate families are some of my favorites to photograph. As a mama myself, reflecting back on times of my own with just my first baby melts my heart. I notice instances in time that I wish I could get back more, which makes me all the more intentional about keeping rocord of them for others.
I truly believe there is no better time than right now to have your family photographed. Expecting a little one, those early months of parenthood, 5 and counting or celebrating the unions of all your babies now making grandbabies. It’s never the wrong time. You just have to find the right photographer to meet you where you are and allow this season to be made into art.
Of course, we finish off this post with a little landscape from the day. Embracing those incredible blue skies and the intensity of these waves in the wind. St. George Island State Park never disappoints with the landscape. There truly are so few beaches this empty out there anymore.
